For this seventeen year old Pure Malt, matured malt whisky is used, of which the grain comes from Miyagikyo and malt from Yoichi Distillery. This is then partially matured in sherry casks. This whisky has a full golden colour and, thanks to the maturation, has fruity notes of peaches in syrup, dried apricots and earthy oak. The taste has clear notes of malt with again hints of peach and oak. This time enhanced by notes of citrus and sweet nuts. The aftertaste is creamy and bittersweet.
