1995 Château Mouton Rothschild - Pauillac 1er Grand Cru Classé - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

Château Mouton Rothschild is known to all wine lovers, not only for its exceptional wines but also for its labels signed by artists since the 1945 vintage. The history of Mouton Rothschild began in 1853, when Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild bought the Château Brane-Mouton in Pauillac, renaming it Mouton-Rothschild. In 1922, his great-grandson Philippe de Rothschild took over the reins of the company for the next 65 years and it was he who brought Mouton Rothschild to the pinnacle of its glory thanks to his determination and stubbornness. A quest for excellence continued by his daughter, Baroness Philippine. By an official decree issued in 1973 by Jacques Chirac, then Minister of Agriculture, Château Mouton Rothschild was declared the fifth Ier Grand Cru Classé, alongside Château Lafite-Rothschild, Château Haut-Brion, Château Latour and Château Margaux. This wine comes from a private collection and has always been stored in air-conditioned rooms away from light.
