Set di due scatole e accendino da tavolo in onice – Italia, anni ’60 Elegante trio da tavolo in autentica onice verde, composto da due scatole portaoggetti e un accendino vintage con base scolpita. Ogni pezzo è realizzato in onice naturale, con venature e cromatismi che variano dal verde oliva al marrone dorato, tipici delle lavorazioni italiane della metà del XX secolo. La scatola più grande poggia su quattro piedini a zampa di leone in metallo dorato e presenta una forma bombata con coperchio a cupola. La seconda scatola, più lineare e compatta, ha profilo rettangolare con coperchio piatto incernierato e bordo in metallo brunito. L’accendino (da testare con ricarica) è montato su base d’onice tornita ed è sormontato da una testata cromata removibile, di tipo meccanico. Curiosità L’onice era molto utilizzato negli anni ’60 e ’70 per oggetti decorativi, grazie al suo aspetto prezioso e alle tonalità naturali capaci di impreziosire ogni angolo della casa. Set of two boxes and a tabletop lighter in onyx – Italy, 1960s

Elegant table set in genuine green onyx, consisting of two storage boxes and a vintage lighter with a carved base. Each piece is made from natural onyx, featuring veins and color variations ranging from olive green to golden brown, typical of Italian craftsmanship from the mid-20th century.
The largest box rests on four lion's paw-shaped feet made of gilded metal and has a domed shape with a rounded lid.
The second box, more linear and compact, has a rectangular profile with a flat hinged lid and a darkened metal edge.
The lighter (to be tested with refill) is mounted on a worked onyx base and is topped with a removable chrome head, of mechanical type.

Onyx was widely used in the 1960s and 1970s for decorative objects, thanks to its precious appearance and natural tones capable of enhancing every corner of the house. Items like these were often desktop gifts or decorative elements for studies and bourgeois salons.
