S. Visser

Suzanne was born on March 23, 1972 in Oostburg. After completing education at the St. Maria Academy in Antwerp (fashion design and illustration), her studies were completed at the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda. She graduated in 1996 to illustrate. After this she worked as an illustrator and graphic designer. Over time, illustrating made way for painting on canvas, partly due to the many positive reactions. The artist has had the opportunity to exhibit the versatile artworks at various locations. A clear evolution is visible throughout the work. The paintings get an ever greater mythical, almost spiritual depth. If you look at the paintings for a long time, you will discover new details and hidden messages over and over again. Sometimes her work is modest and contemplative, sometimes exuberant and humorous. Some paintings look more traditional and others are true power explosions.
