Herend – Nanking Bouquet (Polychrome) – Serving Plate – ca. 1950s Elegant Herend porcelain serving plate decorated with the classic Nanking Bouquet (polychrome) pattern. Founded in 1826, the Herend Porcelain Manufactory is internationally renowned for its exceptional artistic quality, traditional craftsmanship and luxurious hand-painted porcelain. Each Herend piece is individually hand-painted, marked and numbered, making it a true work of art. The Nanking Bouquet design gained particular popularity during the 1950s and 1960s. This plate features a finely hand-painted central magnolia bouquet, surrounded by scattered small floral motifs and finished with a richly applied 24-carat gold rim. The softly scalloped edge and delicate relief decoration further enhance its elegant appearance.
