A truly eye-catching and luxurious piece, decorated with the iconic Queen Victoria pattern, one of Herend’s oldest and most celebrated designs. Inspired by Far Eastern aesthetics, the Queen Victoria pattern features a rich and vibrant composition of hand-painted butterflies, magnolias, peonies and exotic flowers, rendered in nearly one hundred brilliant colors. The softly scalloped rim is enhanced with genuine 24-karat gold detailing, adding refinement and a sense of timeless luxury to the piece. The pattern achieved international acclaim after winning the Grand Prize at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851, and its fame grew even further when Queen Victoria herself ordered a complete dinner service in this design for the royal palace. Since then, it has remained one of Herend’s most beloved and enduring motifs.
