Very Rare original industrial lamp known from the film Star Wars "The Force Awakens" Designed and produced by Kokosha / Osaka in Japan. Originally designer for tankers and military vehicles. The main body is cast aluminium with steel fittings and is in excellent condition for its age and usage. These substantial lamps were NATO fixtures and were built to very robust specifications for the military and have not been available for general use until the present time. They were manufactured for the most extreme of conditions and are over-engineered to a delightful degree. This lamp will last a lifetime. The protective tubes are formed from very tough shock-resistant glass and are flameproof! This lamp is IP55 rated which means it is safe to use in bathrooms, kitchens, swimming pool areas and wet zones. This is a stand-out lamp that could be a design solution for breakfast bars, dining areas, kitchen islands, retail environments/restaurants. The lamp works suspended on a ceiling but also on a wall. This is an unrepeatable statement lamp now adapted for the home and the commercial scene.
