This is especially important to save on taxes and waiting times that can exceed four months deliveries with Japanese sellers also headaches with tedious and sometimes problematic processes that further lengthen deliveries, even returning the parcel to its origin and more than 35% extra on the final price due the customs, tariffs and fees that increase the product but not the quality and the future resell. We are also professional sellers and therefore our satisfaction guarantee, knowledge and standards are superior to private sellers and with higher after sales guarantees. Thanks to this and the lowest professional prices in the industry plus our fast and efficient shipping method which rarely exceeds three days delivery in Europe, we are sure you will enjoy this great opportunity to own a piece of art that will appreciate in value for years to come and a great investment. Trust us to enjoy the samurai art. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Comes with kimono or cotton bag. Comes with certificate of supein Nihonto. This mumei katana features a blade length of 64.3 cm with a graceful curvature of 1.64 cm, reflecting a well-balanced design between functionality and classical aesthetics. The hamon is clearly visible in a suguha style, flowing elegantly along the blade. The hada (grain pattern) appears visible, likely of itame type or a mixed variant, showing especially along the body of the blade. The surface has some light abrasions and wear from use, but the blade remains structurally sound. The tang (nakago) is unsigned, with a single mekugi-ana, suggesting the possibility of shortening or remounting. The aging patina of the tang suggests it may date from the mid Edo. Mounting (Koshirae) The sword comes in a complete and elegant koshirae mount: Tsuba: Iron with openwork floral design. It shows natural aging and dark patina. Fuchi/Kashira: Iron fittings decorated with silver accents, featuring butterfly or floral motifs. Tsuka: Black cotton tsuka-ito over white samegawa (rayskin). Menuki appear to be gold-colored with vegetal or animal motifs. Kojiri: The end cap of the tsuka appears to be made of polished dark horn buffalo. Saya: Glossy black lacquered saya, simple and elegant with small nicks over the times and use. Habaki: One-piece construction, possibly copper or nickel alloy, with wear marks consistent with use.
