Walt Disney - Dibujo de producción de Mickey Mouse (1936) - Mickey's Rival, Walt Disney

Mickey's Rival (Walt Disney, 1936) Mickey Mouse Production Drawing This lovely original production drawing from Mickey's Rival (1936) captures Mickey Mouse in action, desperately escaping a charging bull in this classic slapstick sequence. When Minnie's old flame, Mortimer Mouse, attempts to show off his bullfighting skills, he quickly panics and flees in his sports car, leaving Minnie alone to face the furious bull. Determined to save her, Mickey grabs the picnic blanket and takes on the role of a matador, attempting to distract the bull. In this sequence, seen near the 6:04 timestamp, Mickey gets wrapped up in the blanket, then leaps into the air, using his teeth to grab a tree limb, narrowly escaping the stampeding bull. Animated by a crew that included Les Clark and Ollie Johnston, two of "Walt's Nine Old Men", this hilarious moment is brought to life with fluid and expressive "rubber hose" animation. Walt Disney himself provided Mickey's voice, adding to the classic charm of this short. This graphite and red pencil drawing on 12-field, 5-peghole animation paper is numbered 47. Exhibiting edge wear and age-related toning. Good condition - a true gem for Disney collectors!
