If an item exceeds the specified size or weight, it may be shipped in multiple packages. ----- Hyodo Toshiro (1927-2006) Born in 1927 in Uwajima, Ehime Prefecture, he was a Japanese artist active in painting, sculpture, and woodblock printing. He exhibited oil paintings at the Ehime Prefectural Exhibition from 1946 and worked as a junior high school art teacher from 1947 to 1979. After receiving training in woodblock printing in 1955, he began producing prints, gaining recognition when his students’ print collection was featured in a national magazine. From the 1960s onward, he held numerous solo exhibitions of oil paintings, watercolors, and woodblock prints in Ehime and beyond.
