It belongs to the Tertiary (ca. 40-45 million years old) .Likely belonging to the genus of perennial palm trees. Fine details can be observed in two aspects: the beautifully polished frontside and the natural roughness on the reverse. Stand included. This ancient fossil is worthy of decorating your home interior. Our assumptions are that this piece is palm tree because we found palm seeds around the wood in the rock. The colors flow into beautiful shades of brown. The rings you can see give information about the age of the wood. The piece was cut and polished.
