Breitling - Navitimer 1461 Chronograph Moonphase Limited Edition - A1937012/C883 - Hombre - 2015

Breitling Limited Series - Navitimer 1461 Chronograph Moonphase Reference Numbers;A1937012/C883 Serial Number;2777212 Valid Until;21/07/2020 Limited Serial Number;283/1000 Model: Navitimer 1461 Gender: Mens Case Materials Available: Steel Movement: Breitling 19 Power Reserve: 42 Hours Water Resistance: 30m Bezel: Bidirectional Crown: Pushdown Crystal: Sapphire Diameter: 46mm Thickness: 15.5mm Weight: 111.45g Strap: Ruber and Leather after-market Bracelet: Navitimer Lug Width: 24mm Watchwinder Direction:Both Complications 4-Year Calendar, Chronograph, Moon Phase. - This rare watch contains the Breitling caliber 19 automatic movement. Essentially this is a modified base Swiss ETA 2892 automatic with a module produced by Dubuis Depraz. The module of course offers a full 12 hour chronograph, but it also offers an annual calendar and moon phase indicator. Each of the chronograph sub dials has the dual purpose of being used for a calendar display. Breitling confusingly does not call it an “annual calendar,” but rather a “leap-year calendar.” While confusing given that “annual calendar” is an industry-wide term, it does make sense as annual calendar implies the calendar needs to be adjusted annually, when in reality it is only on leap years that it needs to be adjusted. The caliber 19 is actually rather complicated and according to Breitling, comprises over 450 parts. Despite all the functions, power reserve is still 42 hours. In addition to the time, annual calendar, and chronograph, the moon phase is an attractive addition to the feature set. What I find interesting is how the calendar functions are adjusted. The crown seems to be used exclusively for winding and the time, while the pushers are for the chronograph. Inset pin pushers around the case (four of them) are used to adjust either the date, day of the week, month, or moon phase). This means that if the calendar functions need to be reset, it is relatively easy and quickly to do so - Please Note: - Second-hand watches are not guaranteed to be leak-proof. - The watch is as shown in the photos. Please examine it carefully. - International Buyers - Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. - These charges are the buyer's responsibility. - Please check with your country's customs office to determine the extent of these additional costs before bidding or buying. - Customs fees are normally collected by the carrier or upon delivery of the item. - These charges are not additional shipping charges. - Shipping Service: FEDEX / UPS / DHL During shipping, we will add the tracking number to the Catawiki tracking section for all our customers.
