This very rare vase is made of Ko-Imari ware and features an old map of Japan. This vase was made approximately 150 to 200 years ago. The map shows the old names of Japan's prefectures. Tokyo is written as Ueno 上野, Osaka as Izumi 和泉, and Kyoto as Tanba 丹波. The bottom is inscribed with "Tenpo nen sei 天保年製(Made in the Tenpo era)."
