Pioneer CT-445 Cassette Deck The Pioneer CT-445 is a vintage single-cassette stereo deck, made in Japan around 1989–1990. Designed for both playback and recording, it’s a solid, no-nonsense deck that offers flexible tape support (Type I, CrO₂, and Metal) and reliable analog performance. Its dual-motor drive system (one for capstan, one for reel) improves tape stability, while the inclusion of Dolby B, Dolby C, and HX-Pro headroom extension ensures cleaner recordings and lowered noise across a variety of tape types. To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
