Mitrídates II (o Mithradates II), rey de Partia de 124 a. C. a 88 a. C., es considerado uno de los mayores soberanos del imperio arsácido. Consolidó el reino tras un periodo de turbulencias, repelió a los escitas y extendió su autoridad desde Mesopotamia hasta Irán oriental. Bajo su reinado, los Partos se afianzan como una potencia importante y establecen los primeros contactos diplomáticos con Roma y China.

Mithridates II (or Mithradates II), king of Parthia from 124 to 88 BC, is considered one of the greatest rulers of the Arsacid Empire. He consolidated the kingdom after a period of turmoil, repelled the Scythians, and extended his authority from Mesopotamia to eastern Iran. Under his reign, the Parthians established themselves as a major power and forged the first diplomatic contacts with Rome and China.
