Antique Swiss Pocket Watch Cylindre 8 Rubis key puller – Early 20th Century
A beautiful antique Swiss pocket watch featuring a Cylindre 8 Rubis movement, dating from the early 1850/ 1900s. This elegant timepiece reflects the craftsmanship and precision of early Swiss horology.
Description:
Movement: Cylindre escapement with 8 jewels ("8 Rubis")
Markings: remontoir “Cylindre 8 Rubis”
Coming with nice charm and key
engraved inside the case
Balance bridge: Marked “Avance / Retard” (Fast / Slow) for regulation
Display: Classic white enamel dial with romanian numerals and a sub-second dial at 6 o’clock has some hair line
Hands: Finely worked gilt (gold-tone) spade and whip hands
Case material: Silver-tone metal (possibly silver-plated brass) with engine-turned guilloché pattern and decorative shield cartouche on the back
Crown: Onion-style winding crown with bow
