Descripción del vendedor
“What the Water Keeps” XL #2 is a visual artwork by Nik Haku, where a female figure drifts within a dark, unstable body of water. Her form flickers between presence and dissolution, as light skims the surface like a fragile memory. She does not emerge—she lingers, suspended in a state where the body loosens and identity begins to blur.
Artist’s Statement:
This work moves within the space between holding on and letting go. The water does not claim the body, nor does it release it. Nudity becomes a neutral ground—something elemental, without narrative. What remains is not the figure itself, but the quiet tension of what refuses to fully disappear.
Artwork details:
• Limited Edition: 1/10
Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture lend a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.
Each piece is individually numbered and signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.
About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
