Antique or vintage wall coat rack and hat rack, typically made of oak, with richly carved decoration and brass hooks. The style is most often identified as French vintage or sometimes antique Dutch/Old German style. Main features: Material: Solid oak, antiqued or warm brown finish. Decoration: Carved panels, often with an ornate brass element depicting a human figure in the center. Function: Top shelf for hats and usually 5-7 brass hooks for coats. Period: The style is typical of mid-20th century or older antique pieces (up to around 1900).
