Descripción del vendedor
“Ivory Silence” XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku.
A solitary geisha turns away from the viewer, her bare back exposed like a held breath. Unadorned skin replaces silk, yet ritual remains—pressed into the posture, the lacquered hair, the suspended ornaments that tremble with history. She does not perform; she withdraws. The absence of fabric amplifies the presence of form, a quiet defiance against expectation. What is revealed is not the body itself, but the discipline that shaped it—grace etched through restraint, tradition lingering even in undoing.
Artist’s Statement:
This image explores reverence through removal. By turning the figure away and stripping her of costume, I wanted to confront the space where identity persists without its symbols. The nude back is not vulnerability but resolve—an archive of ritual carried beneath the surface. The geisha remains whole even when unseen, her power residing in what she withholds. This work is less about exposure than about distance: the intimacy of what cannot be fully accessed.
Artwork details:
• Limited Edition: 2/10
Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture lend a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.
Each piece is individually numbered and signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.
About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
