This is the real thing: one of the original 500 numbered Gorilla Fastback watches, the very first model ever released by the brand in 2016. Piece number 323, engraved on the caseback.

Gorilla was founded by Octavio Garcia, former Head of Design at Audemars Piguet, and Lukas Gopp, also an AP alumnus. The Fastback Original was their debut, a bold statement watch built with high-end materials at an accessible price: black ceramic bezel, titanium case, anodised aluminium red ring, and sapphire crystal. Movement is the reliable Miyota 8215 automatic.

The first 500 pieces were sold exclusively through the brand's webshop at launch. Everything above 500 was not numbered. This is one of those first 500.
