Descripción del vendedor
The Glenrothes 1984 — Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky — Distilled 1984, Bottled 1996 — 700ml — 43% vol — Distilled and Bottled in Scotland by Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd., 3 St James’s Street, London. One of the earliest releases of the legendary Glenrothes vintage series, launched in 1994 under Berry Bros & Rudd — the iconic wine merchant founded in 1698 — who pioneered the concept of bottling Speyside single malt by vintage year, inspired by the tradition of French château wines. Each vintage was finite and unrepeatable. Since 2017, when the brand passed to Edrington Group who reverted to age statements, these original BBR vintage bottles have become increasingly rare and sought-after by collectors worldwide. The label is the famous Glenrothes Distillery Sample Room card, hand-signed: checked by J.L. Stevens (4/7/84), approved by R.H. Fenick (8.9.95), character noted as “Fragrant, sherry overtones.” Original cylindrical cardboard tube included, bearing Royal Warrant “By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen — Wine & Spirit Merchants — Berry Bros & Rudd Ltd, 3 St James’s Street, London.”
A landmark bottle from the golden era of Speyside single malt.
