Fine hand-knotted oriental silk prayer rug in, dating from the late 20th century.

This elegant small-format prayer rug features a refined architectural mihrab design with hanging lamp motif, surrounded by intricate floral and geometric borders in deep navy blue, ivory and warm terracotta-red tones.

The rug is finely hand-knotted with a luminous silk pile displaying beautiful light reflection and subtle tonal variation depending on viewing angle, characteristic of genuine silk craftsmanship. The detailed weaving and refined knot structure are clearly visible throughout the piece.
