Sony LA-EA1 Mount Adapter (A-mount to E-mount)

We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Sony LA-EA1 is a genuine Sony mount adapter, made in Japan, that lets Sony A-mount and Minolta / Konica Minolta A-mount (Maxxum / Dynax) autofocus lenses be used on Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Released in 2010 alongside the original NEX system, it carries the electronic contacts needed to control a compatible lens from the camera body.
Compatibility - please read carefully:
- Format: the LA-EA1 supports the APS-C capture format only. On a full-frame E-mount body it will cause vignetting; for full-frame use, Sony's LA-EA3, LA-EA4 or LA-EA5 are required instead.
- Autofocus: the LA-EA1 has no built-in focus motor, so autofocus is available only with A-mount lenses that have their own built-in motor (Sony SAM or SSM lenses). With all other Sony / Minolta A-mount lenses, the adapter controls the aperture only and focusing is manual. Autofocus support depends on the individual lens, so please check the manufacturer's (Sony's) official website to confirm whether autofocus is supported with your particular lens before bidding. For autofocus with screw-drive (motorless) A-mount lenses, an adapter with a built-in screw-drive motor (LA-EA4 or LA-EA5) is required.
