La edición No.5 de The Macallan
The Macallan Edition series continues with the 5th release, and this one is all about the natural colour of the whisky! Celebrating the natural colour of the whisky, imparted by its time maturing in oak casks, Macallan teamed up with Pantone to create a rather fetching shade of purple which features on the label and presentation box. Very snazzy stuff.
La serie The Macallan Edition continúa con la quinta entrega, y esta vez se centra en el color natural del whisky. Celebrando el color natural del whisky, resultado de su envejecimiento en barricas de roble, Macallan se asoció con Pantone para crear un tono de púrpura bastante atractivo que aparece en la etiqueta y en la caja de presentación. Muy elegante.

Toffee apple, poached pair, savoury hints of sage. Flashes of clean citrus notes.
Manzana recubierta de caramelo, pera escalfada, toques salados de salvia. Destellos de notas cítricas limpias.

Paladar
Nuttier on the palate, with walnut and macadamia nut appearing as it opens. Continues on to orchard fruits, honeycomb and a kick of oaky black pepper.
Más nuez en el paladar, con nuez y nuez de macadamia que emergen al abrirse. Continúa con frutas de huerto, panal de miel y un toque de pimienta negra con roble.
