Descripción del vendedor
"After the Tide" is a visual artwork by Nik Haku that reflects on the persistence of memory beyond physical presence. The body stands suspended between abstraction and humanity, covered in saturated blues and earthy reds that evoke erosion, oxidation, and mineral deposits. The absence of water transforms the figure into a relic of something vast that has already passed.
Artist's statement:
The sea is absent, yet it is everywhere. I wanted the body to feel as though it had absorbed an entire landscape. These colours are not decoration; they are residue. They speak about every encounter that changes us permanently. Time doesn't erase us—it settles inside us, layer after layer, until our own skin becomes a map of where we've been.
Artwork details:
• Limited Edition: 1/10
Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture lend a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.
Each piece is individually numbered and signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.
About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
