Se trata de dos icónicas cámaras FED 2 (Made in USSR), finamente personalizadas sustituyendo la clásica leatherette vulcanizada negra por dos recubrimientos artísticos impresos profesionalmente en material técnico, ricos en detalles en relieve y tonalidades cromáticas (oro, rojo, verde y bronce).

Las dos cámaras ofrecen dos interpretaciones visuales y conceptuales diametralmente opuestas de la historia cultural soviética:

FED 2 – Edición "Space Age & CCCP Industrialism" (A la izquierda):
Un verdadero tributo a la iconografía constructivista y a la carrera espacial soviética. El recubrimiento muestra espléndidas inscripciones doradas y cobrizas sobre fondo oscuro que representan cohetes espaciales estilizados listos para el lanzamiento, símbolos del átomo (emblema del progreso científico), torres de alta tensión, espigas de trigo (emblema de la agricultura y del pueblo) y la destacada inscripción "CCCP" en la parte trasera. Condiciones estéticas: Excelentes. Los cuerpos de metal y las cromaturas superiores e inferiores están en excelentes condiciones de época, con mínimos signos del tiempo. El trabajo de sustitución de la leatherette se ha realizado con precisión artesanal milimétrica.

Condiciones mecánicas: Los obturadores disparan, los telemetros son visibles y los selectores de tiempos y de avance giran con fluidez. Las bocas de goal de los objetivos giran regularmente. Al tratarse de objetos de colección vintage guardados durante mucho tiempo, no se ha probado su funcionamiento con película y no se garantiza la precisión perfecta de los tiempos (vendidas como objetos de colección/exposición, "tal cual").

This lot features two iconic FED 2 rangefinder cameras (Made in USSR), beautifully customized by replacing the classic black vulcanite leatherette with two stunning, handcrafted artistic coverings rich in embossed details and metallic hues (gold, red, green, and bronze).

The two cameras offer two completely different visual and conceptual interpretations of Soviet cultural history:

FED 2 – "Space Age & CCCP Industrialism" Edition (Left):
A true tribute to constructivist iconography and the Soviet space race. Mechanical Condition: The shutters fire, the rangefinder patches are visible, and the shutter speed and winding dials turn smoothly. The lens rings rotate regularly. As these are vintage collectible items that have been stored for some time, they have not been tested with film, and perfect accuracy of shutter speeds cannot be guaranteed (sold as collectible/display items, "as-is").
