Offered for auction is an original Minerva Patent mechanical stopwatch, manufactured in Switzerland during the 1950s.

Minerva is one of Switzerland's most respected manufacturers of precision timing instruments and chronographs. This professional stopwatch features a high-quality hand-wound movement and an advanced flyback timing mechanism, designed for rapid and continuous timing operations.

Operation

This stopwatch features a distinctive professional operating system:

Moving the side lever upward starts the chronograph.

Pulling the side lever downward stops the chronograph.

Pressing the crown resets the chronograph to zero when it is stopped.

If the crown is pressed while the chronograph is running, the hand instantly returns to zero and immediately continues timing without stopping (Flyback function).
