This rare print, which demonstrates Schiele's distinctive style, is very well preserved after all these years.
It hasn't ever been framed; it has been stored throughout the 70+ years since it was printed.

The printing process is of the highest quality and is almost comparable to the original. Today there are only 3 printers in the whole world that use this. The color image is split - from light to dark - into up to 25 colors and then printed on top of each other in as many print cycles. This technique was mainly used in small editions.

Egon Schiele (12 de junio de 1890 – 31 de octubre de 1918) fue un pintor austriaco. Schiele fue protegido de Gustav Klimt y un importante pintor figurativo de principios del siglo XX. Su obra es conocida por su intensidad y su sexualidad cruda y por los numerosos autorretratos que el artista realizó. Las formas corporales torcidas y la línea expresiva que caracterizan las obras de Schiele marcan al artista como un temprano exponente del expresionismo.
