Pétrus es uno de los vinos más legendarios y codiciados del mundo. Producido en la meseta de Pomerol, su terroir singular de arcilla azul confiere al vino profundidad, textura y una identidad absolutamente distinta.

La vendimia de 2016 es 100% Merlot. El vino envejeció durante 18 meses en barricas de roble francés, 50% de las cuales nuevas.

Presenta fruta negra intensa y pura, ciruela, cereza, violeta, trufa, chocolate negro, regaliz y notas minerales. En boca es poderoso y a la vez sedoso, con taninos extremadamente finos, enorme concentración, equilibrio y un final extraordinariamente largo.

An exceptional lot of three bottles of Pétrus 2016, presented in its original three-bottle wooden case — OWC3.

Pétrus is one of the world's most legendary and sought-after wines. Produced on the Pomerol plateau, its remarkable blue-clay terroir gives the wine extraordinary depth, texture and a truly distinctive identity.

The 2016 vintage is 100% Merlot. The wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of them new.

It displays intense and pure black fruit, plum, cherry, violet, truffle, dark chocolate, liquorice and mineral notes. The palate is powerful yet remarkably silky, with extremely fine tannins, tremendous concentration, balance and an exceptionally long finish.
