The Classima collection represents the classical side of Baume & Mercier, with restrained proportions and traditional Swiss dress-watch styling. This example combines an approximately 36 mm stainless-steel case with an elegant white dial whose central section features a finely textured radial guilloché pattern.

The contrast between the white dial, polished black hands and elongated Roman numerals gives the watch a particularly clean and elegant appearance. A discreet date aperture is positioned at 3 o'clock.

Condition:

The watch is in good pre-owned condition and is running correctly at the time of listing.

The white dial presents very well overall, with clearly defined Roman numerals, sharp printing and an attractive guilloché centre section. The crystal also presents cleanly.

The stainless-steel case shows visible signs of previous use, including light scratches and surface marks around the polished bezel and case sides. The caseback shows additional scratches and marks consistent with normal wear. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.

The brown leather strap remains usable and shows signs of previous wear. It is fitted with a signed Baume & Mercier stainless-steel buckle.

The caseback is correctly signed BAUME & MERCIER GENEVE 1830, CLASSIMA, SWISS, 50M and STAINLESS STEEL, and carries reference 65786 and serial number 5738657.
