Description

The Technics SU-V40 is a Class AA integrated stereo amplifier manufactured in Japan between 1986 and 1987. It was positioned in the middle of Technics' respected Class AA amplifier range and became well known for delivering clean, detailed sound with extremely low distortion.

Technics' Class AA technology separated the voltage amplification stage from the current amplification stage, helping achieve the musical character of Class A designs while maintaining the efficiency of Class B amplifiers.
