Descripción del vendedor

“Ukiyo” XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku. A solitary geisha emerges from deep blue waters, her porcelain-like presence suspended between ritual and dream. Adorned with delicate blossoms, her expression remains distant and composed, carrying the quiet discipline of a world where beauty is carefully cultivated and never meant to last. The water surrounds her like a second kimono, dissolving the boundary between woman, memory, and myth.

Artist's Statement:

This image draws from the Japanese idea of ukiyo—the “floating world,” a place of beauty, art, pleasure, and impermanence. I wanted to reimagine the geisha not simply as a symbol of tradition, but as a figure suspended between worlds: above and beneath the surface, presence and disappearance. The water becomes a metaphor for time itself, reminding us that even the most carefully preserved beauty is ultimately transient.

Artwork details:

• Limited Edition: 2/10

Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture lend a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.

The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.

About the artist:

I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
