Manija de puerta de latón antiguo de París, circa 1875, con grip cilíndrico acanalado, aros decorativos y construcción pesada; mide aproximadamente 37,5 cm de largo, 4 cm de ancho y 7,5 cm de profundo, diámetro de la manija 3 cm, peso 750 g, en excelente estado con patina original.

Exceptional antique French architectural hardware, originating from an old residential property in Paris dating from around 1875.
This impressive brass door or pull handle is a true eye-catcher, featuring a beautifully fluted cylindrical grip, turned decorative collars and substantial curved supports. The heavy construction gives it a remarkably solid and sturdy feel.
The highlight is the wonderful original aged patina, with rich golden brass tones, darker areas and natural green verdigris developed over many decades. The patina gives the piece enormous character and makes it particularly attractive as a decorative architectural object.
A beautiful and authentic piece of 19th-century French building hardware, suitable for restoration projects, period interiors or simply displayed as a sculptural decorative object.
