Silla vienesa de época refinada Jacob & Josef Kohn, realizada en madera curvada al vapor y caracterizada por un elegante diseño de gusto vienés entre finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX.

La silla presenta un respaldo alto y finamente modelado, con elementos decorativos curvilíneos que aportan elegancia y movimiento a la estructura. Particularmente interesante es el asiento circular decorado, realzado por un motivo ornamentales a modo abanico/concha en relieve, elemento de gran carácter estético.

La silla se presenta en buenas condiciones vintage considerando la edad, con normales señales del tiempo y del uso.

Hay arañazos, abrasiones, pequeñas imperfecciones y desgaste de la terminación, así como variaciones naturales de la pátina. También son visibles pequeños agujeros compatibles con la presencia histórica de polilla en algunas partes de la madera.

Elegant antique Jacob & Josef Kohn Viennese chair, made of steam-bent wood and characterized by a refined Viennese design dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The chair features a tall, finely shaped backrest with curved decorative elements that give the structure an elegant and distinctive appearance. Particularly attractive is the round decorated seat, featuring a raised fan/shell ornamental motif.

The structure is completed by gracefully curved legs and a circular lower connecting element. The wood retains a beautiful aged antique patina with warm natural tones.

An old Jacob & Josef Kohn, Wien paper label is preserved underneath the seat and represents an important identifying element of the manufacturer.

Condition

The chair is in good vintage condition considering its age, with normal signs of age and use.

There are scratches, abrasions, small imperfections and wear to the finish, together with natural variations in the antique patina. Small holes compatible with historical woodworm activity are also visible in some areas of the wood.
