Rare Antique Meiji Period Japanese Kutani Porcelain "Thousand Faces" Tea / Coffee Set – Signed probably Nakamura, in Original Silk-Lined Presentation Box (Early 20th century)

An exquisite collectible Japanese Kutani porcelain export set dating from to the early 20th century.
This stunning set features the world-renowned and meticulously hand-painted "Thousand Faces" (Lohan / Rakan) pattern, showcasing dozens of miniature, detailed faces of Buddhist disciples accented with heavy gold gilt and vibrant iron-red, turquoise, and gold radiating bands.
The porcelain is remarkably fine, showcasing the masterful craftsmanship of the historic Kaga region (Ishikawa Prefecture).
