The entire exterior surface is decorated with numerous full-plastic and half-plastic figures, flowers, leaves and small scenes. The closely arranged details make it possible to discover the vase from every side. The fine hand painting in delicate pink, yellow, green and blue tones is complemented by gold accents on the edge and base.

The lively, almost sculptural effect is particularly beautiful: The figures clearly emerge from the surface and form a continuous scene around the vase.

On the bottom is the colored manufacturer's mark M.A.S. – Capodimonte – Italy with coat of arms and crown.
