Val St Lambert - Decanter 'Muscadet' + 6 glasses - Catalogue 1935. Stylish Art Deco 'Muscadet' liquor set consisting of a decanter and 6 shot glasses by Val St Lambert in clear crystal, cut with horizontal faceted rings on both the decanter and the glasses. The stopper has been cut with large facets and is numbered 16 on the tip. This number can also be found on the inside of the neck, and is proof that the stopper is original and hasn't been replaced. The Muscadet decanter is a well known model, already illustrated in the 1935 catalogue, and usually seen in coloured versions. It was in production up to the late 60ies. This uncoloured version is less common and due to the absence of colour, it will make a very stylish addition with a particular strong Art Deco character to any existing interior. Decanter : H 24 cm x D 15,5 cm - 2 kg. Glasses : H 7 cm. Total weight 2,8 kg. The set is in remarkable condition considering its age, there are absolutely no blemishes, chips, scratches or any other damage, and the crystal still has its original clarity and sparkle.
