Dwarf Poinciana blooms all year round on the Barbados, the island where this rich and complex rum was born. The butterfly attracting flowers are brilliant red-orange, yellow or dark pink, depending on the variety. They have the colours of Caribbean sunset, and they became one of the symbols of the whole Barbadian community. The dwarf's bloom is nowadays the national flower of the country, where the plant is known as "Pride of Barbados". The people of Barbados are proud of rums distilled on this paradise Caribbean island, just like they are proud of the Dwarf Poinciana.
