Jarrón - Gres, Bizen clay - Japón - Botella de sake de Bizen ware
A fine Japanese Bizen ware sake bottle (tokkuri) by Takashiro Takahara, a contemporary Bizen ceramic artist active in the late Shōwa to early Heisei period.
This piece features the traditional Sanpō-style form, characterized by its well-balanced triangular silhouette and strong presence despite its compact size. The natural kiln-fired surface displays rich earthy tones and subtle ash effects that are unique to authentic Bizen ware.
Although modest in size, this work clearly reflects the refined firing technique and craftsmanship of the artist, making it a highly appealing piece for collectors of Japanese ceramics as well as for practical use.
