It is a term used in Buddhist scriptures to express the nature of all dharmas. It means that in terms of their own nature, all dharmas have no coming and going. From a secular point of view, the causes and conditions of all dharmas in the universe are born and destroyed, permanent and discontinuous, one and different, coming and going; but from the perspective of the truth of the Middle Way in Buddhism, the causes and conditions of all dharmas have their own gathering and dispersion, and their nature is actually neither born nor destroyed, neither permanent nor discontinuous, neither one nor different, neither coming nor going. This is the teaching that the Indian Mahayana Madhyamika school and the Three Treatises School in my country particularly emphasize. The Great Wisdom Treatise Volume 5 (Da 25.97): "Neither born nor destroyed, neither discontinuous nor permanent, neither one nor different, neither coming nor going, dharmas are born from causes and conditions."
