Cartuxa Álamos Virgin Olive Oil 2 x 5L 2 Bottles Alentejo Region OLIVE VARIETIES: Arbequina, Cobrançosa & Picual. EXTRACTION PROCESS Crafted from a meticulous selection of Cobrançosa, Picual, Arbequina, Koroneiki, and Galega olive varieties, EA Olive Oil is distinguished by its remarkable complexity, freshness, and perfect balance. TASTING NOTES Complex but balanced, slightly bitter and spicy, medium fruity to green and ripe olives. With an aftertaste with dried fruit presence, Álamos olive oil presents soft notes of green olive leaf and tomato. SERVING Alamos is a high-quality virgin oil, with characteristics that make it an exception ingredient for cooking, being the start of a great dish. HISTORY We invite you to travel back to 1226, when in the Elvas region – a true paradise lost between plains and lands of olive trees -, the Alcobaça Monks, wise farmers with vast knowledge of good soils, settled here and started producing olive oil. It is in this region, ideal for the production of olive oil, under the influence of the Mediterranean weather, that the Ortigão Costa family produces Ouro d’Elvas olive oil, from clean and healthy olives, picked at the right moment, in order to maintain all of their aroma and flavor. It is here, on this estate, that the rich know-how of generations is passed on to the bottles that carry this precious nectar to the tables of good olive oil lovers, on a true homage to the genuine Alentejo flavor. PLEASE NOTE: This is a recurring auction. The seal number(s) you see on the photos might differ from the one(s) on your bottle(s).
