1993 Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur - Grands Échezeaux Grand Cru - 1 Botella (0,75 L)

1 bottle of a 1993 Grands Echézeaux from the domaine Gros Frère et Sœur. Bottle condition and details: - standard 75cl bottle - stained label (see pictures) - bottle stored in an underground cellar (first owner) - wine level (see pictures) Domaine Gros Frère et Sœur is a prestigious family-run winery located in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. History The Gros family's winemaking history dates back to 1830 with Joseph Gros's establishment in Vosne-Romanée. The current estate was created in 1963 by Colette and Gustave Gros, following the division of the estate of Louis Gros Vin et Millésimes. Today, it is managed by Bernard Gros alongside Colette, with the recent arrival of Vincent Gros, Bernard's son, who is ensuring the future of the estate. Vineyards The estate cultivates 20 hectares in the Côte de Nuits Reserve de Bacchus appellation, as well as an additional 12 hectares in the Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits appellation. The vineyards are located in some of Burgundy's most prestigious appellations. Philosophy and Methods The estate's philosophy prioritizes quality over quantity, with low yields but perfectly ripe grapes. Harvesting is done by hand, and vinification follows traditional methods with aging in French oak barrels. Each plot is vinified separately to best express its terroir. Wine Style The wines of Domaine Gros Frère et Sœur are renowned for their voluptuous and rich character, with a velvety texture. They combine generosity and elegance while preserving the unique character of each plot. Critics regularly praise their finesse, complex aromas of red and black fruit, and excellent aging potential. The estate is one of four estates bearing the Gros name in Burgundy, all descendants of the historic winemaking family of Vosne-Romanée. Very careful packaging and fast shipping. All shipments are guaranteed. Locker deliveries via Mondial Relay are available for Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, and Poland. Home delivery is also possible, but you must notify me by message immediately after payment. The significant surcharge (from €4 to €30) must be paid via PayPal or bank transfer before shipment. Home delivery via bpost (Belgian postal service) is available for Belgium (delivery to a Mondial Relay point with a refund of the cost difference is always possible), Germany, and other countries. If the shipping costs quoted are disproportionate to the actual shipping costs, the difference will be refunded by bank transfer.
