Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, head right;; in left field, monogram.
SNG BM Black Sea 1227; SNG von Aulock 56. Beatifull portrait and orichalcum gold color.
Weight: 8.65 g.
Orichalcum was a valuable golden-colored brass alloy (copper and zinc) used by Romans an Greeks to mint coins . Valued for its gold-like appearance, it was considered more valuable than copper.
