The tropical climate provides the ideal conditions for the sugar cane from which Zacapa is made. The juice obtained from the first pressing is used as raw material. Maturation takes place 2,300 meters above sea level so that the full aroma potential can unfold in the "house above the clouds". This Ron Zacapa receives its finish in ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
