2021 Montevertine, Montevertine - Toscana IGT - 6 Pullot (0.7 L)
The Rosso “Montevertine” is made from a blend of grapes that follows one of the traditional blends for Chianti Classico: 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, and 5% Colorino. The grapes come from a 2.5-hectare vineyard, defined by rows with southeast and south exposure. Harvesting is done by hand, and once transported to the cellar, the grapes are pressed and transformed into must. This ferments in concrete vats for about twenty days, then ages for approximately 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels.
