For the 2022 edition, the chosen botanical was Sweet Woodruff (Galium odoratum), harvested near the distillery in 24 Höfe.
Preparation: The leaves were dried for several weeks to release coumarin, the compound responsible for its characteristic aroma.
Profile: This ingredient adds spicy and herbal notes, reminiscent of the scent of a rich, damp forest.

Nose: Elegant and ethereal notes, featuring cinnamon and vanilla over a complex, dense background.
Palate: A spicy and sophisticated dry gin. The sweet woodruff is pronounced but lacks the excessive sweetness often found in woodruff syrups.

ABV: 47%.
Maturation: After distillation, the gin rests in terracotta containers for three months before bottling.
Limited Edition: Historically, this series has a very restricted production (roughly 4,000 bottles of 500ml for the rest of the world and another 4,000 bottles of 375ml for the US).
