The poster features the iconic photographic key visual of Godzilla in close-up confrontation, flanked by JASDF fighter jets and the Super-X (Sūpā X) experimental aircraft, with the tagline Sekai taibō no "Gojira" saishin-saku! (世界待望の「ゴジラ」最新作！ — "The world-awaited latest Godzilla!") and the copy Nihon wo nomu ka, chikyū wo okasu ka — 80 mētoru, 6-man ton — rettō wo hikisaku kyodai kaijū — mō dare mo… yatsu wo tomerarenai (日本を呑むか、地球を脅すか　80メートル、6万トン　列島をひき裂く巨大怪獣　もう誰も…ヤツを止められない — "Will it devour Japan, will it threaten the Earth — 80 metres, 60,000 tons — the giant monster tearing the archipelago apart — no one can stop it now").
