Työväline (2) Industrial - Kelloseppätyökalut ja sakset

Early 20th-century watchmaker and jeweller’s precision tool lot, consisting of two separate tools with their original/fitted cases. The first piece is a German D.R.G.M.-marked watchmaker’s hand tool, stamped D.R.G.M. 158755 with a triangular maker’s mark. Its hand-cranked mechanism, opposing supports and accessory discs suggest use for fine watchmaker work, probably for holding and rotating small cylindrical parts such as pivots, staffs, arbors or screws during finishing, polishing or adjustment. It comes in a fitted wooden case with internal compartments and several accessory discs. The second piece is an engraved spring scissors / precision cutting tool in a fitted presentation case from Franz Rohlicek, Juwelier & Uhrmacher, Gerichtl. beeid. Sachverständiger, Wien IX, Universitätsstrasse 4. The scissors are engraved with a personal dedication/name and dated 26 XI 1935, making them an interesting presentation or professional object connected to the Viennese jeweller/watchmaker context. The exact specialised use of the scissors is uncertain, but the form, fitted case and engraving suggest a fine precision or presentation tool rather than an ordinary household item. The lot shows attractive age-related patina and signs of use. The metal surfaces have oxidation, dark spotting and handling marks consistent with age. The wooden case has surface wear, stains and small marks, while the red Franz Rohlicek case shows rubbing and edge wear, with the inner textile lining still present. No heavy modern restoration has been carried out. Dimensions: Larger wooden case: 15 × 10.2 × 3.2 cm, weight 471 g. Smaller Franz Rohlicek case: 12 × 5 × 4.5 cm, weight 56.4 g. Origin: Germany / Austria, early 20th century; engraved scissors dated 1935. Shipping: Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
