Vintage Ronson Whirlwind Pocket Lighter – Made in England – 1950s A classic collector's item, extremely elegant and representative of the golden age of the Ronson brand. The Whirlwind model is famous for its integrated telescopic shield (windshield), which can be raised around the wick to protect the flame from the outside. Brand: Ronson (engraved on the central bridge of the mechanism). Model: Whirlwind (with functional windshield). Made in England (London), according to the original stamp on the base (Made in England / Brit. Pat. 621570). Body covered in brown natural leather, with a fine texture imitating lizard/alligator skin. Personalization: Includes the central metal monogram cartridge (unmarked/free for engraving), a detail highly appreciated by collectors. Fully functional! The One-motion automatic mechanism runs flawlessly, the toothed wheel has excellent grip and produces strong sparks. The original wick is in very good condition. Note: It is delivered without petrol for safety reasons during transport. Aesthetic condition: Good, with normal signs of use and an authentic patina of the period on the chrome elements (visible in the photos). The leather is well preserved
