Very large antique Chinese blue and white porcelain 'Sanduo' (The Three Abundances) charger plate. Finely decorated to the centre with the Three Abundances: peach, pomegranate and finger citron amongst scrolling foliage. The reverse is painted with floral sprays, with a leaf mark within double circles to the base. For a comparable charger in the Topkapi Saray collection, see R. Krahl, 'Plant Motifs of Chinese Porcelain', Orientations, June 1987, fig. 74. Dating to the Kangxi period, c.1662–1722. Size: Diameter: 41 cm. Condition: Minor enamel frits and small nicks to the rim, with one hairline to the rim. Some firing imperfections and age related surface wear. Otherwise in very good antique condition.
